Limone | Squeeze and Freeze
The Limone restaurant is intended to be a culinary and surreal adventure inspired by the meyer lemon in Downtown Los Angeles
that were present as late as 19th century. I decided to reconnect to the area's
roots and bring back what L.A. was famous for - citrus!
Limone is a place of contrast. During the day it is a bakery where you can enjoy goodies made from lemons.
At night Limone transforms into surreal restaurant that shifts your
perception about time, place and form. The evening events are inspired by famous surreal artists. This touches every
aspect of restaurant including the menu as well as the local ingredients used.
